1. When and where is the wedding?
The wedding will take place on Saturday, 18 October 2025, at De
Uijlenes in Gansbaai, Western Cape. It’s a beautiful forest venue with on-site
accommodation and loads of charm!
2. Is there anything happening before the wedding?
Yes! We’re hosting a relaxed pre-wedding gathering on Friday, 17 October 2025.
It’ll be a great chance to mingle, unwind, and kick off the weekend together. Friday is A Bring & Braai, side will be provided.
3. Is accommodation available at the venue?
Yes! There is accommodation available on the farm for all guests at a per person
per night rate. You’ll be able to indicate your accommodation needs when you
RSVP.
4. Can I stay the whole weekend?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to arrive from Friday, 17 October and stay until Sunday, 19 October. Just make sure to note your preferred nights in the RSVP form.
5. What about meals during the weekend?
A delicious breakfast buffet will be served on both Saturday and Sunday
mornings at the venue.
The cost is R140 per person per breakfast, and this will be for your own account.
You can confirm your interest in the RSVP form so we can plan accordingly.
6. Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there’s safe parking available on-site for all guests staying or attending the
wedding.
7. What should I wear?
The dress code for the weekend is semi-formal — stylish yet relaxed. Think
dresses, jumpsuits, slacks, shirts, and blazers.
Please avoid jeans, and keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will take
place outdoors on a farm, so comfortable shoes are a great idea!

8. Are children welcome?
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only weekend so everyone can
relax and celebrate to the fullest. We hope you’ll treat it as a mini getaway!
9. What if I have dietary restrictions?
No worries! There’s a spot in the RSVP form to let us know about any dietary
requirements, allergies, or restrictions— we’ve got you covered.
10. How do I get there?
De Uijlenes is located about 2.5 hours from Cape Town. Most guests drive down,
but if you’re stuck for transport, let us know in the form and we’ll try coordinate
carpooling.
11. What should I bring?
Bring your wedding outfit, comfy clothes for the rest of the weekend, toiletries
and your best dance moves.
12. Can I bring a plus 1?
Plus 1 by invite only.
13. Should I bring a gift?
No gifts are required, but if you feel the need, you are more than welcome. We will have a gift and card station at the reception.
